The green-fundamentalists of IPCC climate "science" tried their best to frighten liberal/left politicians and Hollywood celebrities with stories of catastrophic global warming and severe weather calamities but are now seriously backtracking - the latest IPCC 'AR5' report determines that the empirical evidence does not support their hysterical hypothesis of CO2-induced extreme climate change disasters

Floods, and droughts, and tornadoes! Oh my!
Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, the IPCC "scientific" community has been possessed by nightmares - those associated with catastrophic global warming tipping points. Their nightmares, they said, were "consensus" science, which 97% of all climate-witches believed.
Ooops. Like the mistake-prone Emily Litella though, it's now another UN IPCC "never mind" moment, confirming what 'C3' readers have long known.
- "IPCC AR5 draft shows almost complete reversal from AR4 on trends in drought, hurricanes, floods and is now consistent with scientific literature."
- "IPCC AR5 Draft: "we have high confidence that natural variability dominates any AGW influence in observed/historical TC records"."
- "Draft IPCC Ch2 bottom line on extremes: "generally low confidence that there have been discernible changes over the observed record"."
As they say, read the whole thing here.
All should read the breaking news here, from which I quote:
" This story is huge. America’s prestigious National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and related government bodies found no greenhouse effect in Earth’s atmosphere. Evidence shows the U.S. government held the smoking gun all along – a fresh examination of an overlooked science report proves America’s brightest and best had shown the White House that the greenhouse gas effect was not real and of no scientific significance since 1979 or earlier."
For those who have been following the research by myself and others from among nearly 200 members at Principia Scientific International, I'd like to draw your attention to an Appendix now added to my current paper.
Have a Happy Christmas everyone!
