Read here. There is an excellent piece by Willis Eschenbach about the Science Magazine editorial that accompanied the infamous Science letter from some 250 scientists. Willis does a fisking of the editorial, which he clearly shows the depth of exaggeration/lying that "science" reporting has fallen to. In essence, a major science magazine that outs itself as a purveyor of falsehoods, myths and innuendos is a testament of how corrupt the global warming advocacy community has become.
Why has it become this way? My personal theory is that once the fraudulent science of the hockey-stick was condoned by the elites, and then supported with large government research funding, the tentacles of science corruption easily spread throughout the AGW community. Michael Mann's "science" has done irreparable damage to the science community, which the Science Magazine editorial is a prominent (and embarrassing) indication of the extent that science fraud causes subsequent corruption of truth, continuously.
