New Research By Atmospheric Scientists Discover That Storm Models Currently Used Are Wrong

Read here. The climate/weather models representing the "consensus" science are found to be wrong, again. Scientists literally admit that models they have been using for storms over the last 90 years are incorrect, per a new peer-reviewed study.

"Researchers found that our basic understanding of "low pressure systems" has been flawed for more than 90 years. Scientists from the University of Manchester contradicted traditional understanding of how low pressure systems evolve...“The Norwegian model of low pressure systems served us well for many years, but it’s time to move on. "What we teach students in school needs to be changed. Malaria Incidents Will Decrease As The World Warms Say Latest Computer Models

Read here. Damn, computer models say the darndest things. A peer-reviewed study utilizing computer simulations analyzed malaria statistics from Burundi. From this analysis, it was determined that mosquitoes really don't like warming thus malaria cases will decline as a result.

"The authors -- a mathematician and a statistician -- introduce their study by stating that "malaria is the main public health problem in the area of Burundi,"...employed Bayesian Generalized Additive Models (GAMs)..."the results of the GAMs show that an increase in the maximum temperature will cause an increase in minimum temperature," and they say that "the increase in the latter will result in a decreasing maximum humidity, leading to a decrease in rainfall." And these results, as they continue, "suggest that an increased temperature will result n a shortening of the life span of mosquitoes (due to decreasing humidity) and decrease in the capacity of larva production and maturation (due to decreasing rainfall)," so that ultimately "the increase in temperature will not result in an increased malaria transmission in Burundi,"..." Greenpeace: Cult of Doom & Gloom - A Never-Ending Green Scam To Shakedown D.C. Rubes

(h/t Tom Nelson) The left's radical green group, Greenpeace, has been wildly successful at raising monies from a terrorized public and the rube politicians that populate the corridors of power in Washington D.C. Greenpeace learned long ago that the spigot of money just keeps on flowing as long as catastrophic doom and gloom scenarios are popularized, such as global warming and climate change.

Principled people have left Greenpeace because of the never-ending money grub via its favored non-scientific, catastrophe-hysteria. Even so, since 1994, Greenpeace has been at the forefront of using typical bad weather events as sure signs that the "green gods" are in the process of catastrophic revenge due to man's prosperity.

"In the 1994 Greenpeace released a publication called “The Climate Time Bomb Catalogue”. In it they state categorically that the burning of fossil fuels will cause all kinds of disasters. As you will see, all of these “disasters” and “unprecedented” weather events are not new and have occurred many times in the near and distant past. The Climate Time Bomb predictions of the awful consequences of global warming have failed. Even in light of these failures organizations like Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, the National Resources Defense Council and many others continue to pump out scary storm stories, animal extinction dramas and dangerous sea level rise predictions. They rely on people’s ignorance of historical weather events to sell their predictions of doom. What you will find as you read on is that nearly 20 years ago, environmentalists were using exactly the same propaganda scare stories we hear today. As Joseph Goebbels said “It (in this case the environmental movement) must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over”."

In reality, bad weather events are a natural consequence of our chaotic climate system - it has nothing to do with CO2 emissions or civilization's prosperity. For example, the year 1878 (additional bad weather events):

It appears, though, the talking is done, and the time for legally and physically suppressing catastrophic- climate skeptics is the now preferred means being implemented by the ruling class and "elites."

As the "consensus" science that human CO2 emissions will cause catastrophic warming has utterly failed (as the skeptics predicted), the green/left climate alarmist community is now turning to techniques honed by Stalin himself.

The hate, terrorization and censorship techniques utilized by Stalin against his critics and opponents started small, but ultimately grew to the point of complete control of all information and thinking - literally, skeptics of the communists and Stalin were stifled, shot or thrown in the Gulag.

In order to institutionalize this approach at major government agencies (ie, EPA, NOAA, NASA), Obama chose agency/cabinet heads who would bring the fringe Big Green's politicized science to bear. No better example of this approach is the Obama appointment of a Big Green zealot, the anti-growth Environmental Defense Fund's own Dr. Jane Lubchenco, who is actively putting in place the Orwellian ministry called the "Climate Service Office," where the green's fictional science becomes truth.

"She followed the EDF party line with the fisheries and can be anticipated to follow it on cap and trade.  In both cases, the EDF stances are the extreme environmentalist positions...EDF's fisheries position: "Fisheries are depleted and fishermen are losing their jobs.  Catch shares are the way forward."  Once given the power of NOAA, Dr. Lubchenco wasted little time in implementing the EDF tool of choice for fisheries, Catch Shares Management, sometimes derisively termed cap and trade of the fisheries...EDF's global warming position: the science is settled, global warming is "accelerating at an alarming rate," and the answer is cap and trade.  I have little doubt that Dr. Lubchenco and her henchmen will adopt and endorse the EDF posture, with all the sociological and economic disruptions it entails."
